Conference Schedule 2027
We plan to start our 28th convention season in mid-March, 2027. We are doing fewer conventions these years... we are aging and conventions are changing.
I recently tallied the number of set-ups we've done over the years...
399!!!
I was flabbergasted to realize that some years we had done TWENTY set-ups! No wonder we are doing fewer conventions these days - we're plum tuckered!!! But still, we are praying for GOOD times of encouragement and laughter this next year as well as good sales!
Many of you know that we moved to VA 10 years ago to help our Navy-veteran son, JJ, navigate through life after a traumatic brain injury. Jan has been homeschooling Spencer, our grandson, who is a seventh grader this year. We need to be here and thus we have chosen to leave home much less often than we used to.
JJ and Spencer come with us to conventions now. JJ helps with set-up and tear down. Spencer helps in any way he can, including being a helper at the Giant Cow kids' program at the GHC conventions. It's pretty fun to watch him relate to customers, vendors, and vendor kids. After all, life is an education and EVERY DAY is a school day!
At many of the conferences we are NOT doing this year we have dear friends and customers. We will MISS YOU all.
